Join us to prepare Dinner, serve the meal, and clean up with the guidance of shelter staff. Staff will create a menu, purchase the food, and guide you through cooking the meal. Volunteers are asked to contribute to the cost of the meal and assist in cooking, serving and cleanup to ensure guests enjoy a hearty dinner.

Parking:
There is on-site parking and plenty of street parking along 1st Ave and Nicollet Ave. available.
Arrival:
Please arrive promptly at 5:00.
Food Safety: Volunteers are expected to follow food safety practices at all times, including proper handwashing, glove use, and hair coverings. No outside food is allowed.
Cleanup: All volunteers assist with Kitchen and dining area clean up after the meal.
Additional notes:
- A max of 6 people per shift.
- All volunteers must be registered for the dinner shift before entering the shelter. Those not registered before will not be allowed in the building. Walk-ins will not be admitted
- Minimum age: 10 years old. Volunteers aged 10-14 require a 1:1 adult to kid ratio in your group.
- Volunteers 15-18 require at least 1 adult over the age of 21.
